It finally happened - my first ever workshop pushed through. It was so much fun that I shall leave you guys hanging until tomorrow. Promise, I shall give you guys details of what happened. So stay tune!
My most of my friends tell me they’re going through a really bad phase in their life. They’ve been out of college for a couple of years now but they feel so empty, unfulfilled and uninspired. (Oh wait, that sounds like me!) I think I’m battling such phase too but I’ve sort of have formulated three important tips in my everyday struggle.
One big reason why I wanted to go to Dumaguete? Silvanas. It’s this slightly frozen cashew-meringue cookie with buttercream filling.
It's been a long time coming since I ever envisioned having my own store. Funny, I even told myself my first product would either be a planner or a calendar Okay, so now naming my brand. I thought I was good with my French that I thought my store named meant “For You.” Little did I know that wasn’t the translation of Par Vous.
But as I came up with my hashtags for the brand (#plotyourstory, #plotyouradventure) I realized it was a blessing in disguise. Par Vous means “by you”. Come to think of it, I’m sticking with this name. I’d like to think my customers plot their own stories and adventures. And of course essentially, everything written in the planner is by you, the customer. What a cliche on my part wanting to celebrate my 25th birthday in New York right? Hey, I've never been to NY until fall last year so the idea sounded so dreamy! Who knew 3 of my travel buddies would be joining me as well!
Do you girls realize whenever we make something for people, be it whatever gender, it always tends to more appreciated by other girls? Our poor boyfriends have no choice but to say they love the DIY gift. Sure the thought is what matters but come on – subconsciously it’s us girls who’d want to receive such a gift right?
